Great delic 2007-02-20 18:08

Hi Viera,
This is a unique shot of a footpath. I like the pov and the composition. Exposure is tricky but you have handled it very well. Does the path date back to the Roman period?

Thank you for your comment Hakan.I know, the exposure isn΄t ideal,and I΄m glad you like it trough that.
This path comes not from the Roman period,it was constructed
in the alpine area which was impassable.
It was constructed for the tourists in the beginnings of the 20th century.

Hi again,
Many roads in Europe are built on top of Roman paths. In Turkey, you can even find some of the original stone paths that pre-date the Roman period, all the way to Persian times. So, I was curious about the one in your picture.
I think exposure is as good as it can be here.
