Hi Cato, thanks for looking in, and for your workshop. I am still quite new to playing with Photoshop and have not done too many scans to date. I dare say the noise in my shot may be due to the scanning of a very old photo, or the Unsharp mask may have enhanced it a little. Not sure what you did to soften it though.

I used a plug in for photoshop called "NeatImage - Reduce Noise" here is the webpage:
