Default Fujicolor Superia Film

Hi. I have used Fujicolor Superia film twice. The first time I used it the negatives were badly scratched. This I put down to bad luck, now the second batch of pictures taken useing this film are again scratched. Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem?

Mabe the scratch is comming from a bad lab developper
Or mabe there is some sand grain dust in your photo camera chamber.

The scratches are either being caused by grit or dirt inside the film chamber of your camera or by bad handling on the part of your lab.

Take a close look at your negatives-- if the scratches are random and scattered across a frame then whoever is processing your negatives isn't taking much care in packaging them up for you.

If the scratches are long and unbroken over several frames or over the entire roll then you probably have either a bit of dirt trapped somewhere along the film plane (or sometimes it could be the rollers on the C41 developing machine at the lab).

You may need to sacrifice a roll of film and check it without sending it off to a lab to eliminate one or the other.
