Good SOMNIVM 2005-05-18 17:57

About the shot: I like it :) Why don't you try to make the sky in the red gama? ;]

Now about the note:
Well first of all what we had in Bulgaria wasn't pure communism, but leninism or state capitalism.
Maria, have you ever been in France? I'm living here and I can tell you that these blocks of flats aren't only specific for Eastern Europe. There are a lot of these in France and they continue to build new ones here, using the same technology with concrete panels which was used in Bulgaria before 1989. I agree that what's done by leninists isn't good but don't you agree that what capitalists are doing now is worst? - Next month I'll return to Varna and I'll upload a shot of the new buildings in my parents' suburb "Chaika", which is considered as one of Varna's best. Five years ago, when I was still living in Varna, I moved to our house near St. Constantin, because I couldn't stand the noise of the construction yards 7d/7 ...
Sorry about my bad english, but I'm better in roman languages ;) I was just trying to say the things as they are and I'm not expressing any political idea ;]

Greetings!
Pavel

Default To SOMNIVM: You are right :-)

Hi Pavel,
So glad to find comment from another Bulgarian, after I didn't open this page for a bit long time! :-) Yes, I have to say that you are right about the concrete houses and seems at that time /70's & 80's/ everywhere it was an easy and fast solution for the migration, mostly from villages to towns. I completely agree with you about Chaika too - it is such an ugliness and the real estate prices there are an absolute craziness...:-( You are lucky to have a house and as I use to say for Varna: as the villagers moved to the town, now it is time for the citizents to move to the villages for more quiet life...:-)))
Have a nice day!
Maria
PS: don't worry, I accept the right of everyone to express his/her own ideas and thoughts and I am not that touchy to take it for offence :-)
