Great No_One 2016-08-05 12:24

Hi Howard
Great to see you post! Beautiful sun in that liquid gold coffee sky, and beautiful user of the role of thirds. I like how perfecty level you got the horizon, I find that difficult. The people on the beach give a nice human touch to the pic, I think without them, the sunset and sea alone would be almost abstract

Default To Noel_Byrne: hi back

Nice to hear from you, Noel, and thanks as always for the positive reinforcement. I use Photoshop elements grid lines and free rotate to get the horizon right, and when I get barrel distortion and the horizon drops off, I use transform/distort to pull it back in line (and then crop as needed.)

Completely agree about the people. I like the silhouettes - they convey the "sun-salute" quality I was looking for and give me something to look at in the foreground Best regards. Howard
