Great PixelTerror 2010-07-21 22:21

Hi Asa
An interesting modern version of a saloon in a tropical environment apparently controlled by pirates, however the hard midday light ruined the picture quality to some extend
Have a nice day JY

Default To PixelTerror: Harsh light

Do you have any suggestions on how to better handle this harsh midday light.
I used a polarizing filter but still did not get the quality that I wanted.
I know that a different time of day would have been better but here due to the size of the building to the right of the saloon an earlier shot would have deep shadows.
Thanks for you honest comments!

There's no miraculous rule Asa, timing is everything, depending on the orientation relative to the sun and nearby buildings, morning or evening, midday is for lunch and siesta, any Mexican will tell you this ;-)
