Hello Simon,
This is a powerful example of photojournalism. Absolutely remarkable. I don't think the Cali Cartel commissioned the work. At the new Newseum in Washington, DC, carved on the wall is a quotation by a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, "If if makes you laugh, if it makes you cry, if it wrenches you heart out, it is a great photograph." This qualifies!

Thanks for your appreciative comments.... I think your right that it wasn't commissioned by the cartel... not much sign of them in Cali now... artists roam where gangsters used to tread... which can only be a good thing!! ;o)
