Hello Bill,
It is one of the best sunset what I saw so far on TE. The photo has so many colors on this beautiful sunset sky. It is nicely composed with perfect sharpness although you did't use a tripod. The dark silhouette baot was very good idea to add in the foreground.
Also it is a very interesting note about your job.
