It is ok to use places for this post because it is a museum piece. Very clear and good light condition to show the sharp detail. Is this a metal or real specimen?
I find it puzzling when some museums prohibit cameras to some visitors whereas I see visitors carrying heavy cameras to shoot inside. Breaking or relaxing rules for selected elite few?

Yes, this is a real specimen, this one is a male specimen. Unagi means eel. You are interested on this strange of stuff, right? I remember the tree :) Yes, I don't understand either, I mean, this museum isn't a bijutsukan, art museum, where taking photographs is strictly forbidden. Oh, too many plan for this spring. How did you like Cambodian trip? Yeah, I read it on the forum thread:). Can't wait for your next post.
Visiting Japan isn't expensive if you have good itenerary and plan and of course you're a well experienced traveller. The north islands? I never been there too, it'd be perfect during winter. Take care, Henny.
