Hi Richard,

I have heard and read about Namahage, but never seen this ball.
Very interesting image and nice composition.

Hi Tsutomu,
The ball is in front of the Namahage Pavillion, a museum all about the Namahage. Its not a very famous ball, so I think you wouldn't know about it unless you visited the museum.
If you have time, you should come to Akita some day ;)
