Hello John,
many thanks for your kind critique and the interesting link,the bridge now has a 3 Ton weight limit and is well used by both pedestrians and cars as I hope to show in a future upload.
I did read somewhere that the best photographic accessory was a tripod,a view with which I tend to agree.
