Re: Meeting 2009 In Iceland
I am also interested in going to Iceland. Perhaps sometime between 15 February and 1 May 2009 would be something I could do. My wife my also be interested. If there's a group forming, keep me posted.

Hi Marie-Louise,
I'm sure there is much that overlap between Ukrainian, Russian and perhaps Polish too. For both Russian and Ukrainian, they are both written in Cyrillic. While I can't understand...

Hi Ken,
Thanks for reminding me of how lucky I am. I appreciate all of these things too about the UK (and other places in Europe). I do miss the family and close friends back in the USA though.

To sonichko: Ukrainian old and new
Hi Sonichko, thank you for your note. Is the first line the new name and the bottom line the old name for the same place? On my maps it would only have either the top line or the bottom line.

Re: Tokina Lenses
The Tokina AF 19-35mm is not a bad lens and is pretty good value. I have owned this lens, but then got a Tamron SP 17-35mm f2.8-3.5 which I find to be a little better (but it did cost a bit more).

Unfortunately due to work, I had to reschedule my trip and make my time in Poland a bit shorter. I should have two days in Krakow in August.

Thanks Stephen, the gradient filter on the sky was the key here - otherwise it would have been just a white/light grey sky with little detail.

Re: making notes required
I agree completely on this point - in fact, I believe the terms&conditions of the site require a note to be added. If no note to be provided, it can go on TrekLens.
