This makes my mind go somewhere far, far south of Devon, maybe even outside Europe. Perhaps it's the man's hat, or maybe just the reflections that make this look so exotic. It's anyway a very good photo.

This is quite funny, and you snapped this very neatly at the right moment. It's one of those perfect photo opportunities that come unexpectedly and will disappear just as quickly if you don't react immediately. To me, searching for pictures like this is a lot more rewarding than taking photos of monuments.

A very nice combination of beautiful colours in the lower part and a beautiful village on top of the hill. I am not sure if the yellow flowers at the bottom have grown naturally, but they are in any case just as pretty as the multi-coloured cultivated plants.

I didn't even notice the bird on the thumbnail, but in the larger view it stands out well against the green leaves. It's quite beautiful and I would have been excited at such a sight. The main difference between the two photos is that there seems to be some junk (maybe a bottle?) floating in the water behind the bird in the WS. So you probably made the best choice,

As long as the sky is not completely black, clouds often create the best light and colours. This view has a pleasant softness with basically only a few nuances of grey/blue and light brown, with the white boats as eye-catching details.

A well made stitch of the long range on a slightly cloudy day with subdued light and colours. I like the winding road cutting across the grassy area and leading my eyes up to the hills. The WS is nice too but you are right that it may be slightly over-sharpened. That's a temptation I have to resist every time.

You placed the sun neatly behind the church tower. The effect of the halo is striking and it makes me wonder how you could handle the exposure so well. I don't see any too obvious traces of heavy post-processing, so the fine light on the church faηade is admirable. In fact the entire picture is well exposed. The flower pots on the white wall is a strong feature in the foreground. The WS are also good. You had to watch your step in the narrow street in #1,

The large fountain gets the central place here, but behind it we see a number of fine buildings whose age I could not possibly estimate because they're so different from the styles I am familiar with. I believe there is a mixture of old and quite new keeping to the same style, which has created a harmonious image. The bright light is very well exposed and the photo is neatly composed.

This one gives me a stronger sense of vertigo than the views looking into the distance. I feel I could fall straight down here. There's a lot of fascinating patterns and shapes but really hard to estimate the dimensions. Only a couple of cars to the left give me some idea. It's a fascinating view anyhow.

The boat and its crew provide a nice view and it's interesting to see that they are all slightly elderly men. Rowing must be a great hobby which they have probably been engaged in for many years. I was a bit puzzled at first before I understood which men were handling which oars. I like the horizontal and well balanced composition and also the nice colours, but I suppose that sharpness could have been a bit better.

This is an interesting look at a procedure I suppose has been going on for a long time, since long before the arrival of tractors when the boats had to be hauled onto the shore by the men of the village. But doesn't the boat get damaged by being dragged across the rocks every day? Apart from the interesting work being done, the shapes and colours of the nicely layered steep rock are very attractive, as usual best seen in an enlarged view. Both WS are perfect complements.

Hello Malgo,
Three good photos, including the portraits in the WS. These gay parades are always very colourful and perfect for a photographer. In spite of the reactionary attitude of the Polish government and the church these events in Warsaw seem to have been held without any major obstacles. In Norway, which is a much more open society, two persons were killed and nearly 20 seriously injured in a mass shooting at a gay bar in Oslo.

That is quite a thriller you describe in the note. I hope the young starling was not traumatised for life by its experiences and that the mother didn't try to attack you. There are lots of seagulls in my area and they can be very aggressive if you come near a young gull walking on the ground.
This photo is well timed and the WS are interesting complements describing the nestling's adventure.
