Hello Lars,
I like all the action and the architecture, but honestly, my eyes went immediately to the woman in the center with the white shirt that says "make it happen"! I wonder what the "it" is that the shirt is referring to. :-) Nice shot of this densely-packed and narrow street. The warm sunlight brings out all the colors, and I like the towers in the background, too. Take care!

Calatrava leaves his signature on all of his creations. This museum looks like a modern spaceship, and the top section reminds me of the Oculus here in NYC. This is a lovely POV, with greenery in the foreground, and some other buildings on the left side. Take care!

I like this simple view, mostly because of how the colorful walkway lines up with the colorful rear section of the plane. The mosaic on the walkway is very unique, and it leads our eyes out towards the small plane. Take care!

I was visiting your gallery, and this photo popped up. It's great, because, as you know, I love street art. :-) All three photos are nice, but I prefer this main photo. I like the Asian theme, and the way the painted lady is looking at the camera. By the way, thanks for your enthusiastic critique on one of my recent photos. :-)

This is an excellent combination of the stained glass and painted fresco. The light coming through the windows really brightens the red color, and makes this photo jump out. You handled the difficult lighting perfectly, too. Take care!

It's interesting to see the remnants of a real ghost town. With only stones and bricks remaining, it's like an archeological site. Your recent photos remind me of the BBC mini-series "The Tourist" that took place in the Australian outback. I watched it a few months ago. Have you seen it? Here we have a toilet for people who aren't shy. ;-) It's an amusing subject, and we even get a bonus reflection toilet in the same frame. The whole scene is a bit surreal, with that parking lot in clear view, but that's what made me stop and look. :-) Take care!

We had similar storms here yesterday after a week of extreme heat. You managed to capture the storm at its strongest, while that man was trying to grab all the chairs and umbrellas! The light, shadow, and slight blur give a "film noir" feeling to this scene. I hope all the chairs didn't blow away!

I recognized these buildings right away. :-) I attended NYU for both undergraduate and graduate school. This is not the library, which can be found one block to the left, but it's actually Judson Memorial Church and Tower, built between 1877 and 1896. NYU does own a building behind the church, which used to be the parish building, and it became part of the law school in 1999. I remember that when I was a student, a handful of other students were actually able to use the small rooms in the church tower as their dorms!

I know you appreciate history, so I thought I'd give you a bit more info on this historic site. Take care!

What a beautiful caterpillar! I have always seen green ones, and never one with this kind of a pattern. It really looks like an artist took a white caterpillar and painted it with magical patterns and colors. Great shot!

This is an interesting scene, that, without the explanation in your note, would look a bit bizarre! I would have definitely wondered why you were photographing a man putting on his pants, and why his wife was wearing a microphone. :-) The red cottage is charming, and so is the setting by the water. I really like the composition in this main photo. This spot reminds me of Central Park near Bow Bridge. From this POV, the bridge seems to be emerging from the sculpture. You probably already know that the word "hoopla" is used in the US to describe an unnecessary fuss about something. I guess this piece is making a big fuss about itself. :-) Take care!
