    Witaj Krzysztof,

I find it so interesting, that these shrines are located all over, within easy access of local settlements and obviously hold a great deal of significance to the local people. The care and maintenance of this shrine is easy to see, from your sharp, colourful photograph.
The cement and brick foundations will discourage grass and weeds from the surrounding rural area.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Jean,

Your description is perfect: impressive and grandiose!

By placing the figures (many dressed in red) so low in the composition, you have emphasised the vast scale of these sheer slopes above them. The contorted layers, covered with snow makes the scene so wonderfully atmospheric.
    Excellent!

    My warm regards,

    Hello Ian,

There is a strong contrast between what you showed yesterday and this copse of tall, black trees, like self-made silhouettes. Sadly, it appears as if this woodland will not revive until the seeds germinate and the saplings take hold, which will be decades in the future.

Has the Australian Government done anything about replanting trees in the worst hit areas?

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Kasia,

So, this is the end of your absorbing travels through Pakistan. I have enjoyed sharing it with you and learning so much about the everyday life of the people who live there, facts which are from real experiences and not something gained from a travel guide.
You have also explained the ominous note, written early on in your documentation, about being ill. (So glad you recovered without any serious after effects.)

The three photographs are all delightful. They show the people, their clothing and their environment with excellent clarity and honesty.

    Keep safe,
    Bev :-)

    Hello John,

It makes me smile; the adults seem to have as much fun in the snow as the children! And, it is important that there are public places for people to share such enjoyment.

There is a lovely, wintery atmosphere created by the fine layer of snow and I particularly like it on the branches of the huge tree, so strongly positioned in the frame. In fact, that tree is really important to your composition, its trunk on the thirds line and its branches spreading out over the scene, either side.

I wonder who brought the red chairs!
I cannot imagine that they are there all the time.

    Take care,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Paul,

This looks like an amazing, outdoor bathing pool, not just because of the clear water but just look at the scenery, which you have shown with an excellent sense of depth!
The swimmer and the single, red boat make good focal points amid the huge range of green hues.

I wonder how difficult it is to immerse yourself! I imagine with no sunlight reaching the water, the temperature could be quite cool!

The people in the rubber rings look to be totally relaxed. A great way to spend free time!

    Hello Dear Costantino,

It all depends on the rules, whether people have been told to stay in doors or whether they are allowed to walk in the fresh air with immediate family members. Problems can happen when several different families decide to walk in the sam beauty spot at the same time but there looks to be plenty of room here for social distancing!

I like how you have anchored the f/g with the tree, the bush and the stone. The add immediate interest from their differing colours and textures.
The sea's edge acts like an effective, curved guide line towards the b/g details.

    My warm regards,

This is a very dramatic scene and perfectly composed to see the dragon, high on a rooftop, directing his fiery breath downwards! It is sharp and has great impact.

Are all customers aware that the dragon is about to breathe fire! If not, there could be some excellent shots of the faces of people as they are surprised by the action!

    Hello Abmdsudi,

In China it is Mahjong, in Greece Backgammon, and possibly other games in other countries. But it is a fun way to relax and, as you say, taken seriously. (Why would anyone play if they didn't want to win!)

This is a quick, unprepared shot but it is a good record of pastimes and settings. Presumably this is taking place in a parking lot. Nearby, we can glimpse a parasol, maybe for a street cafe, and beyond, the roofs of closely packed houses.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

I'm sure you don't resemble Gandalf but I know what you mean about hair becoming too long! I'm afraid hairdressers were closed before I was able to use my appointment!
Your photograph is sharp and very journalistic in its content!
I might have been tempted to crop the reflections on the right and concentrate on the hairdresser's customer. Hello Jorge,

Sometimes photographers want to leave little disturbances, like window smears or sun spots, to make the photograph more honest but they would be easy to remove with PS.

I like how the road anchors the f/g, whilst the lake becomes the link to the undulating terrain in the b/g. I would be tempted to crop much of the sky, as it is a little featureless, and that seems to bring the island closer. Just try and see what you think.

You usually show us one plane, ascending or descending, but this is a little different! Here, we have a whole row of planes, a bit like the start of a race, waiting to move.

Are they all grounded because of the Covid restrictions?

For you, it has worked out well, for you have been able to capture a whole group of planes, set against a lovely textural b/g of huge trees.

Painted with snow - is a good way of describing the scene that you have posted. Though all the items are recognisable, they do look different under the soft layer of snow.

A scene before the snow arrived, when you were busy thinking about preparing the vines for winter.

It is remarkable how Nature is so resilient and manages to begin regrowth on badly burned trees. (Sadly, the w/s is not there as a comparison.) I wonder whether there will be seeds, trodden into the ground, from which new trees will emerge.
