A simple composition, but a very nice one. With a few elements you have built some nice contrasts. Lots of nice textures and the tiles at he top form a very nice upper frame. There is just enough of a hint of detail on the interior to give a sense of mystery. Regards, Iain.

This sort of gathering is a significant part of travelling around in Africa - and any photo from Eritrea deserves a comment. Especially in cities in Africa crowds of people are a travelling phenomenon and I find it interesting that your shot is virtually indistinguishable from a Christian feast day down to the green branches which could be from Palm Sunday. The non-white colours in the front left echo the highly starched uniform of Zionist Christian Churches and Jericho churches of Southern Africa. I think you have a great shot here - full of life, of pattern and of colour. Regards, Iain.

A very mysterious piece of work - the high contrast and the black and white finish leave the viewer wondering whether this hotel is actually empty and ruined, rather than being a flagship building. Now here is a great example of how to photograph a very, very famous location and produce an image which is fresh and original with your own personality in it. This is a lovely, tight crop which brings out the symmetry and geometry for which the Alhambra is justly famous. Regards and thanks, Iain.
