Interesting take how you used the roof as your foreground element and had it protrude out from the lower left corner. Maybe a better question for me at the moment is your vantage point being on the roof with a camera? Either way, you have provided some warm tones from the clay roof tiles and some ominously dark cloud formations in the rear. Very striking photo! Brendon

Very soft image with the curving line descending into the lower left part of the frame and the centre of the map converging into the centre/top of your shot. The B&W with the map contrasting the lawn gives your shot a yin and yang look; a very smart capture of daily life. Well seen, Brendon

Very stunning glimpse into this shrine Robert. The lighting is oddly surreal, almost dreamlike with the soft hues found throughout. Great job salvaging a shot that would otherwise have been lost had you not used the small portal to sneak a shot, you pulled it off cleanly. Top notch note as well that inspires more reading about the subject matter. Great Work. Brendon

Interesting subjects Premanand, and only 3 point thus far! Tsk Tsk. They appear so disconnected from behind their stern gazes. It does indeed look like they are intent on the arrival of someone, even the two guys in white looking out of the frame. To cap it off, you have the huge smoke dangling out of the middle guys mouth; well timed choreography exemplifying their waiting process. Brendon

Hello Premanand, It appears you were blessed with the same stark grey sky that I had when I visited Beijing, well I should retract the blessed part. I think you worked the railing into your short rather nicely. It was there, you couldnt move it, so you made the best of it. It protrudes well from the lower section of the frame. The emphasis being the lion was done well, with her placement to the left of the frame and Mao working his way into the centre and rear of the shot. Well conceived. Brendon

Very interesting formation of clouds, really neat how they explode from the back of the tree. And the tree itself, wow 130. It towers above the others, and must be a royal pain to clean in the fall. That aside, glad to hear your friend is well. Brendon

Hello Dongan, Good use of the trees as a foreground subject to frame the balloons in behind. It provides a nice DOF with the mountains in the rear. Photo is sharp throughout, great job. I can see where TravelerNL and stevep are coming from. I see the need to encompass as many balloons as possible (I would have been greedy) so I can see why you chose to crop the mountains. On the other hand I suspect if you stepped back a touch you could have pleased stevep. Oh well, still a nice subject and photo. Brendon Brendon

Intersting take on this famous photographic spot in Japan. Smart to take your shot and then putting your own twist/mark on it. I can't say that I have seen this approach and I think its as worthy as one that is shows the typical Pavillion amidst the pond and its reflection. Kudos, Brendon

Wow Benjamin, what more to say to this fine photo. One to be very proud of for sure. The light cascading on your foreground subjects is superb and the troops bringing up the rear amidst the dust is out of this world. Well done, Kudos. Brendon

Your move Yuval, checkmate! Very interesting subject matter and note. It appears that the whole herd is moving in one direction (left), very cool how you used the sloping hills in the foreground to neatly frame the animals above. Smart idea. Brendon
