Hi Julien I always love to see the hustle and bustle of NYC. Those yellow cabs, I believe, are the true landmarks of NYC, not the statue of Liberty. I think you managed to include the whole ingredients which make NYC NYC: the yellow cabs, the snobbish skyscrapers, the colourful people, the billboards, and, wow, the junk in the foreground. Well captured. I only wish my eyes can finish seeing the tall-buildings until their tops. Cheers Toby

Hi Anders This is an excellent shot with a simple compo. The sharpness is excellent. I can see the foliage on the trees in the background clearly. I like the contrast between the red-brown colour of the little house with the green colur of the trees. However, the house is too centered. I wonder how your picture would look like if you put the house a bit away from the center. Cheers Toby

Hi Andre This is a brilliant shot with a magnificent DOF and wonderful compo. The clouds on the sky fill the whole frame without any empty space left. The exposure is near perfect. The details anywhere are clear. Well done. Toby

What can I say. This is a first class shot. The DOF is excellent. The composition is brilliant. The stone in the foreground locks the compo into perfection. I love the framing with the tiny weeds in the foreground. Cheers Toby

Hi Herve I always remember seeing a picture of a baloon more or less like this in my first photography book. I loved and love it still. Beautiful contrast of the colourful baloons with the blue sky, white clouds, and yellow-green field. I wish I was the one who shot this picture. Cheers Toby

Ahh... A classic view of an African dessert with an off-center solitary tree. I'm never bored to see such view. An excellent exposure of the sky. The details of which are clear. The silhouette of the tree and plants are also captured nicely. Well done Toby

Hi Sebastien I think you need a good tripod. Otherwise, use a high ISO when hand-hold your camera. I agree with the 'one-point' comments. Your picture is blurred (which I think caused by your camera's shake, the result of which can't be fixed with sharpening tool). The composition is also too general. There is no point of interest. If the main action had been too far from you, a zoom lens would have been beneficial. Cheers Toby

Hi Sam You got a beautiful composition here. I love the mixture of colours of this garden. It must have a brilliant gardener. Good sharpness. I also love the winding pathway, leading my eyes to the upper-left side of the picture. Cheers Toby

Hi Terez I have to say that I don't like the foliage on the right-hand side of the picture. It is rather distracting. I think the camera misfocused on the foliage and not on the basilica itself. The colour is dull and the sky is overexposed. I would also love to have it sharpened. Cheers Toby
