Brilliant Sohrab! I was looking at your photos for the first time in an age and this jumped right out at me. I had already decided it was one of my favorites before I saw it was scanned from a contact sheet! After that I simply love it more because it reminds me of when I was seeing the world and submitting scans from contact sheets to the critical eyes of the elder members. Your efforts supercede mine very much though! The process you have used here captures the essence of the picture perfectly. Wonderful

Yes odd, like it always has and will. What I'm getting at is that you are really not showing us anything in this image. It is not even a re-presentation of soemthing familiar that shows it to me in a new way. I beleive these are both very important things to keep in your mind whilst making photographs.

This is my favorite nature shot on TE!! Absolutely and wonderfully evocative of the environment in which it was captured. Thankyou.

Ok, so it's a tower with a little bull on top. Is this significant somehow? A little more info in your note would be great to help us understand why you want to share this picture. The picture itself is lacking any kind of interest for me, however it's not the a long way from the worst I've seen on this site. Technically the contast is too high (your highlights bleached, and your shadows have no detail). What method did you use to import this image onto your computer? It looks like this picture was taken during the middle of the day, when the suns light is at it's harshest. During this time of day it is better to photograph subjects that are indoors, or that are totally in the shade. I hope that this has been helpful :)

C'est une image merveilleuse. Le grain et vous modifient la tonalitι ont capturι dans le ciel sont superbe. Mais pourquoi laissez la saletι dans l'image ? Est-ce que c'est intentionnel ? Pour moi, ceci abξme l'image.

Welcome to TrekEarth Raymond. I like your image very much, there is alot of empty space on the left, but your composition balances this very well. I look forward to seeing more pictures from cambodia! I too have made a workshop. Mine focuses on the right hand side of the frame and converts it to BW, I hope you like it!

This picture gives me a feeling of vertigo because of those dramatic lines leadin me into the riot of frantic consumption. Reminds me of every trip to Ikea I've been unfortunate enough to endure. Excellent work Gilad.

This wasn't the end!! I live on the Isle of Wight, and this marvellous sculpture was given a new lease of life at the 2004 IOW Festival! I don't know what hapened to it after, but I'm sure it's being looked after. As for your picture, I am sure that there could have been much more interesting angles on the subject. Perhaps just an abstract detail, or an upsidedown portrait. I don't think this picture really carries the idea of how cool this thing really is!
