It looks very autumn-like, considering that October has barely started. I think you caught the ideal moment, with the couple holding hands being the only people visible. I hope you didn't have to wait there too long for the scene to appear! Regards, Ken.

I like the intense blue, Christian, and I like your composition with the ideal placement of the two solitary trees. It very much captures the feel of a cold, damp, still morning. Regards, Ken.

This reminds me of the photos taken by the Hubble Space Telescope showing galaxies and clouds of interstellar gas! This is much more down-to-earth (literally), but it's very well seen, Korkut. Regards, Ken.

Nice timing for this shot, Brian, when the shadows give the hills good clarity. Lots of detail from the low-angled light, too. You were lucky to have a haze-free day! The sky color seems slightly off, but overall it looks very good. Regards, Ken.

Shy and cute, indeed, Henry! The kids' smooth and supple faces contrast very well with the old worn wood. Great light on the kids, too, and great Velvia-like color. One nitpicky thing--I like the shallow DOF but it has a slightly artificial look, as though it's from artificial PS-induced blur; I can't identify exactly why. Excellent overall, though. Regards, Ken.

He doesn't look like a rich man, Wanda, but he does look like a dignified one, and you really captured his character well with this portrait. I like the shallow DOF, but with enough detail to show he's on a busy city street. I might prefer straight B/W but that's just my taste. Regards, Ken.

It looks like he's already got the pose mastered, hangin' on the fence watchin' the action. I like the B/W and the shallow DOF, to put the emphasis on his young-and-innocent version of the classic cowboy stance. Nice framing too. Perhaps a bit more contrast would make it more dramatic, I'm not sure. Have a great week, Barbara! Regards, Ken.

A world of shadows--yet interrupted by bright color and fresh paint, a kind of joyful randomness. Life can have both those sides at the same time, as well. A work of poetry (except I understand it better than I understand poetry, I think.) Regards, Ken.

Beautiful contrast between the left side and the right, Deniz. The left is a shadowy "night" world of anonymity and cigarettes. The right is an artificial "nice" world of restaurants and festivity, a place to hide from the world on the left. A technical feat to capture them both, too. Regards, Ken.
