An excellent photo. On another note. Even though I am Turkish and proud of it. Seeing this level of despair makes me feel sad and realise that we have a long way to go. Damn virtually every government after the death of Ataturk. They've milked the country dry with corruption even though its young population (avg age is 27 in Turkey) has worked tirelessly to lift the country out of the ashes of the Ottoman Empire. Thankfully the current government is not too bad. For a country at 16th position in GDP this is a sad site to see. What further compounds it is that it's not in the far flung East of Turkey but in Bursa which is only a few hundred km's from Istanbul. Poor little thing.

What an amazing landscape and a great picture. Excellent. Hey Bruno40. This landscape was laid down during eruption commencing millions of years ago. It's then eroded to form what you see today. I am sure that there is at least a few million years of erosion to go. You and I will be long gone by then.

Unbelievable. I know Hasan Dagi is stunning but this perspective is just stunning. Turkey has to be one of the most beautiful countries on earth... Daglar daglar. Kurban olam yol ver gecem. Sevdigimi son bir olsun yakindan gorem Thank you Bulent.

Hi Jean11-3 (sounds like a robot name :-) Most of the carving out of the tuff was prior to Turks coming in from Central Asia. It was mostly done by early Roman Christians, Christian Byztanines and less by other civilisations and a few by the Turks. Nevertheless, a good photo of an amazing place. Turkey's geography never ceases to amaze me. Thanks.

Great shot. And I agree. Spanish orientated bull fighting is a human disgrace.
