Beside the excellent lines and framing, along with the perfectly used black and white coloring, I think what I like most about this photo is how the curves seem to spiral up toward the top of the structure which is contrasted against the remarkable background sky. The darkened corners and the wispy clouds in the sky make for a great photo. Beautiful.

Alyssa- I have a very similar picture that I just couldn't get quite right... So thanks for taking the picture that was in my mind's eye. Great detail on the silhouette with the gaze looking out.

Hey Alyssa- I was just perusing all of your wonderful photos and keep coming back to this one. I love the shadow and the faded script on the wall. Makes me feel like I should know who lives behind that door. Keep posting, I'm enjoying my mind's trip through Switzerland....

Of all your pics up here, and i love them all, this is the best in my estimation... The position of the man sitting, his demeanor oozes out of the pic... It'd be even cooler if you brought out the shaft of light on him to contrast the darkness, just a thought.
