Hi John, a lovely photo from a spectacular area. I realy love The Lakes. Can't beleive you managed to get a shot without people in the back ground. You must have waited an age. The last time I was walking in the area it was like being in the middle of London.

A wonderful shot Ollie. I love the colours and the effect you have with the water. I have tried a number of times, unsuccessful, to get that effect with water. Maybe one day. TFS D x

Hi Colin Good capture. I was there myself last year and have posted a couple of the photo's I took. It was difficult getting a shot without someone in modern day garb. Well done. I didn't know about the event but I am making a note for my diary for this year TFS Dx

Hi John Another wonderful shot. I love the sun lighting up the fields and the menacing clouds. On my recent visit to the Borders I was amazed at how green and lush everything was. TFS Denise x

Hi John I keep coming back time and time again to look at this picture. I love the light and shadows and the peaceful feel. When I look at it I feel I could be there waiting for the wind to rustle the leaves on the trees so that I can see the dancing shadows on the side of the church. TFS Take care Denise x
