Photographer's Note

I shot this picture when I had just started taking pictures. This is Jal Mahal or Water Palace in Jaipur. It just came to my mind to shoot this beautiful scene when I was returning from the Amber Fort Nearby. As a starter I had no Idea to take a tripod with me for taking sharp night shots. But this was what I managed.

The Jal Mahal is an 18th century architectural wonder built in Jaipur. It is a popular tourist spot in Jaipur for its magnificent artwork. Built in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh, Jal Mahal is a popular tourist spot. It was built by constructing a dam between two hills. Sawai Pratap Singh built this palace for the royal family as a place of leisure and especially for royal duck shooting parties.
Set in the midst of the Man Sagar Lake, the palace is known for its intricate artistry and architecture. The four floors of the building are four floors of the building are permanently under water. Only the top floor of the palace is visible. This red sandstone monument looks particularly magnificent during monsoon in a lake filled with water hyacinth.
I hope you will enjoy the picture.
