ABOUT THE LOCATION
On the return ferry from the Bahamas to Miami we have met a lovely Indian family who recommended us a great beach to visit as a day trip from Orlando. Instead of the famous Clearwater they mentioned a less known and different in character Caladesi Island. The island constitutes a state park and therefore it is quite wild as opposed to the Clearwater. Both are having amazing white sand and particularly green color of the water. I was quite surprised to discover that also Jean (jemaflor) has visited the same beach few days before. I dont have great photos since I was focused on enjoying the beach life there but I wanted to share a view from this amazing place.
ABOUT THE TITLE
The title refers, of course, in the first place to the famous song performed originally by Bing Crosby. Indeed, in England the snow is a rarity and a couple of families I know travelled to Laponia in Finland this year where you can meet Father Christmas (Santa Claus) but also for a couple of days experience a real snow world. I think I will consider it next year, just to show my daughter how white Christmas may look like. However personally if I could, I would spend all Christmases on a white sand beach like the one in this photo. This idea was used in an ad for holidays in Malaysia: Children were making a snowman from sand on a white sand beach and the advert stated Dreaming of a white Christmas?. Yes, this is the sort of white Christmas which I would personally prefer.

Hello Mariusz,
A beautiful view of the white sand beaches and the clear water in the background. The green leaves of the bushes in the foreground give the photo a kind of paparazzi feel, as if you were spying on the people on the beach. Maybe you hoped to see a celebrity over there? ;-) Excellent photo with very good clarity.

Il faut bien se trouver sur une plage en plein soleil pour rκver d'un Noel blanc.Pour ceux qui sont dans la neige jusqu'au cou c'est tout le contraire. On peut toujours rκver.

troche przewrotney tuytuł i zdjecie na Boże Narodzenie. Ja jednak w tym czasie wolę śnieg niz białem piaski plaży. Najładniejsze białe plaże są chyba w Meksyku, gdzie "piasek" jest z drobniusieńkich muszelek, więc nawet w upalny dzień jest chłodny. Fajne zdjecie, ale co tam robić? Troche popływać, a potem?
Wesołych Świąt - w domu, czy u rodziny.

No White Christmas here in Vancouver either, its no surprise its more rain rain rain. Probably in London as well. Not very many people here, easy to see why it was recommended to you. i like the different tones of colour of aqua green/blue to the blue sky. a fine beach shot without interferring with the people. It is so refreshing to see a beach in a summer picture when its the middle of winter outside, Mariusz.
The inclusion of the bushes in front added good sense of depth towards the beautiful green/turquoise sea.

Hello Mariusz.
Interesting note about the location of the place and your preferences for a white Christmas.
This beach seems a paradisiacal place, with that spectacular white sand, and that sea of an incredible blue-green, the shrub positioned to the left in the foreground gives a special touch.
A fantastic photo, with beautiful natural colors, very good lighting and excellent sharpness.

After an absence, I discover this picture and I agree that this is also the kind of white Christmas I'm dreaming of. I may show you a similar photo during the following weeks.
This idea was also used by Lonely Planet on its website a few years ago and I also have thought to use it here once ... but you're too quick for me :)
Well composed with the branches in the left under corner.
The sea has a beautiful colour.
