Photographer's Note

One more work of art part of Voyage ΰ Nantes (A Journey to Nantes) exposure: the Mont Royal(e). This structure stands on Place Royale (Royal Square), the most beautiful square in Nantes. It has the same shape as Gerbier-de-Jonc mount, which is the place of birth of the Loire, the river that crosses the city. It recovers temporarily a wonderful fountain. The children of Nantes can try to climb the Mont Royal, as the young boy on the summit achieved it !

I posted an other POV, a horizontal one, in workshop, so that you can see the structure in its whole. But I find this vertical format better, probably because of the link between Mont Royal summit and the tower bell of Saint Nicolas church surrouding the square.
