Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This is a scene from St. John's in the Vale, near Keswick. It is a lovely valley which follows St. John's Beck.

As the title suggests, the weather can be ordinary, the clouds low on the hills, but somehow, the beauty of the scenery shines through.

A walk in this valley, between guarding peaks and rolling hills, allows views of pretty cottages, old farm houses, bridges, an ancient church and just to help keep up your stamina, a farm which supplies home made cakes, scones, sandwiches and cups of tea. Who could ask for more!

Have a lovely Sunday.
And for those in the U.K., have a great Bank Holiday.

Thank you for your visit.
Please feel free to feedback on any aspect of the photograph. Bev :-)
