Photographer's Note

I took this shot during a protest rally against the constitutional reform in Venezuela. There was a group of people with a huge flag and when they passed, I found myself underneath it and made a shot. I just wanted to find the right timing, because the camara has a low shutter speed and I wanted to get the three colors of the flag in the shot.

The Venezuelan flag has three stripes: yeloww, blue and red. On the blue stripe, there are 8 stars (until recently, there were 7). Officialy, the yellow represents the wealth of the country (because gold was used as a reference in those times), blue represents the Caribbean, and red represents the blood shed by our independence heroes.

Just resized to match TE standards.
