Photographer's Note

Here we can see the main part of the Salt Cathedral, there is an angel made of sandstone at right and we can see a huge cross carved in the wall of salt and illuminated inside. Unfortunately I hadn't a tripod and I was obligated to use the floor to get this image and the lower part of the church isn't visible here. In the ceiling we can see the veins of the dirty salt. The Muiscas Indians took stones of salt and boiled them with water, cleaning the salt and swapping it by products brought by the neighbor tribes.
