Photographer's Note

At the beginning of this year, I posted a photo of the Rufous-fronted Thornbird building its nest with sticks. In the hotel where I stayed in So Loureno, in the South of Minas Gerais state, I found this Rufous Hornero (Furnarius rufus), another species of the Furnariidae family, very popular in Brazil, known for building an oven-shaped clay nest, as can be seen in the photo.
