Photographer's Note

Brasilia is a special city. Its architectural project came out from Oscar Niemeyer΄s hands. It is a different metropolis. There are no skyscrapers where you can take shots from. Usually, sunsets shots are taken from the ground. But the city has some commercial buildings and hotels. From the 14th floor of Patio Brasil Mall you have one of the most amazing panorama view of Brasilia.
I spent some weeks to find this place. It looks like a hide-out. From outside of the Mall, you couldn΄t imagine that those small windows had so beautiful view of the city.
You have to take an external elevator. Then, you walk along a corridor to reach the opposite stairs where the panorama view is located.
I came upon with this title because the shot reminds me a war scenario. The gingery-brown clouds looks like a result of oil-well fires.
