THE PLACE:

Brasilia's Cathedral is one of the Cities most famous land mark.
It was inaugurated in 1970 (contrary to the popular mistake that it was 1967) and became one of popular landmarks of Brasil's Capital.
The unusual architecture of the Cathedral is sure to impress most tourists. It's made of 16 pillars that join at the top, making an intentional impression of a Hand with Fingers, asking and thanking the skies.

THE PHOTO:

I tried for a Panoramic like image taken on a little foggy night. Of course a Tripod was used. The Cathedral isn't very easy to photograph... The place where the 16 pillars join can easily be overexposed.

CURIOUS AND USEFUL FACTS ABOUT BRASILIA'S CATHEDRAL:

- The entrance is free and tourists are allowed to take pictures inside (discretion is asked when a religious cult is being held). The inside of the Cathedral is remarkably beautiful. A must for anyone visiting.

- The Cathedral is a very safe place, thanks to frequent police presence on the area.
