Photographer's Note

Doorway Rock is a small island just of the coast from Robe, in the south east of South Australia. Robe is best known for it's fishing fleet and lobsters, but is a very popular holiday destination in summer. I have spent long hours sitting on this beach and watching the waves break over the rocks - (a wasted youth?)

Taken on an Olympus OM2 with Tamron 70-210 zoom and Hoya polariser. Lots of light so probably a fast shutter speed, and judging by the depth of field probably a small aperture.

Scanned from a slide with an Epson RX700 multi-function printer. Some adjustments with Photoshop to Levels to improve the contrast (suffers a little when scanning old slides), and Unsharp Mask 100% Radius 2.
