Photographer's Note

I must make an apology to those who were the first to view this photo. This is a sheep bridge not a railway bridge. The railway started on the other side of the creek to carry the bales of wool from Willandra sheep station (now national park) to the nearest main railway line 25 km away.
The bridge crosses Willandra Creek. Sheep are notoriously difficult to get to cross creeks. As you can see despite there having been several days of rain there is not the slightest sign of water in the creek but the rain had got the weeds growing.
