Photographer's Note
Watch out for camels, wombats and kangaroos over the next 92 kilometres! An iconic Aussie sign as seen at Nullarbor Roadhouse in the centre of the Nullarbor Plain - a flat, almost treeless, arid or semi-arid area of southern Australia, located on the Great Australian Bight coast.
And no this is not 3 trucks travelling so close at high speed - rather it is 3 images of the same truck merged!

Hello Marlene,
This is an excellent picture, not least from a technical point of view. I like the idea of making one truck look like heavy traffic and you did it well. The sign is amusing, as well as being eye-catching, and looks very exotic to me. I believe one Australian scientist has suggested that elephants should be imported to clear certain areas of a kind of grass or bushes that cause environmental problems. Maybe this sign will have an addition in the future. In Sweden we only have signs warning of moose. They are often stolen as exotic souvenirs by foreign tourists.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Marlene
Clever work merging three images to create a better shot than the original. I like the way the line of the trucks creates a leading line for your eye to follow and the fact that they are slightly out of focus creating a sense of movement and this of course contrasts nicely with the sharply focused message of the sign.
I find it amusing sometimes when traveling up the M6 motorway in the UK when I see cows crossing the motorway on bridges. Maybe the Australia should build bridges for wildlife!
Nice image

Hi dear Marlene, how are you?
Sorry for my late reply, as I have just backed from 5 days trip.
Wow another interesting and also wonderful shot indeed. Nice combination and contamination indeed. The surroudings are best match with the main objects.
1/125 shutter speed is the best of best choice to describe the flow and movement. Thanks for your sharing with the finest shot and have a good start of a new week! Best regards,
Takero in Tokyo
