Photographer's Note
This was taken in front of a bank on Broadway I believe. It is an addition to my People of New York Theme.
This man caught my attention as he seemed so so out of place in an area that is full of banks. I think NYC is quite tollerant though, as I saw more of these contradictions throughout my few days in the Big Apple.

I like wheelchairs, hence I'll add it to my theme if you don't mind. Don't get me wrong, it is not a question of aesthetics, but rather a personal hommage to all those who can't feel the wet grass under their feet.

Hi Nick,
A good portrait of this man. black and white suits the scene and adds to the gritty atmosphere of street life. Well composed and nice and sharp.

have you read "Trout Fishing in America" from Richard Brautigan, Nick? it's a novel from the sixties, early seventies written by one of my favorites american authors. ex-Hippy who committed suicide, when the dream ended at the beginning of the eighties.
"Trout Fishing in America" is the symbol of modern societies. there's a character named Shorty-trout-fishing-in-America, he's a street guy, left on the side of the society.
You photographed Shorty-trout-fishing-in-America. (pls, read that book!!!)
