Photographer's Note
I often am amazed how we humans are obsessed with death. In central and southern Mexico the holiday on October 31 is called day of the skulls. This tradition may have been traced back to the Aztecs. It was brought in sync with all saints day or all hollows eve. There are festivals, food and gifts put on private alters. These trinkets can now be found throughout North America as keepsakes. This place I visited had hundreds of them.

Hello Jimmy, I thought it was the picture from Mexico, I recognize such skulls. Indeed, The Mexicans are obsessed with death, sometimes it the cruel version, like in Aztec times, sometimes joyful. I see, that there is the influence of this culture also in Arizona.Interesting composition.

Hello Jimmy,
Effective tight framing with nice use of a shallow dof. Good sharpness and punchy light contrasts. I like the b&w skull in sharp focus contrasting with the oof blue and yellow skulls either side. Tfs!

I have a cousin who produce bracelets in florida and skulls are his more evident inspiration.
nice this display with many colorful skulls. I liked the repetition and difference showed in this image.
