Photographer's Note
I don't do a lot of still life or studio shots, but this is my original tool of the trade. I purchased this camera back in 1978 at the Fleet Exchange in Yokosuka, Japan. I have been a camera nut ever since. I used black glass to capture the reflection. This is an odd image for TrekEarth I know. But it is what we do. We take images that capture a moment in time. I would have loved to see an image of the Roman Coliseum in its glory, or the Egyptian Pyramids prior to start of decay. This camera has fallen down a mountain side, into a lake, but kept the images coming. All I can say is keep shooting my friends....
Used black glass and added sepia filter for old age like mysel

Hello Jimmy,
Well, if you looks as good as this camera, you are still doing well!
It's a sharp and very original photograph.
I love the close crop so that the details are right there, without distractions and the sepia filter has added its age!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello, Jimmy!
A nostalgic image here, and the sepia tones are perfect! The details are shown with excellent sharpness, and the reflection on the glass is beautiful! Great contribution to TE! Very well done!

Bonjour, cher Jimmy,
Amitiιs.

Hello Jimmy,
Those were the days when you had to know your stuff to take good images. Now, the machine does it all for you. I like the close up of this rugged workhorse.
Regards,
MT

A very appropriate photograph for this site ! Interesting note about the sturdiness of the machine ! You did well in keeping it !
Great shot with the sepia colour ! Very good management of the details and of the exposure.
Bravo.
Marie-Louise.
