Photographer's Note

This image is a 'transition' one from yesterday's post.
Decided to use the federal government's geology report --- "From the La Sal Mountain viewpoint, we look easterly into the trough of the Courthouse syncline. Temple Rock, down dip from our viewpoint, resembles the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City. Farther east, the Navajo Sandstone surface rises out of the Courthouse synclinal trough.
Walk out on the rocks to the national park exhibits. To the north from this spot are nice views of the Courthouse Towers, including The Three Gossips, Sheep Rock, Tower of Babel, and the Organ."
