Photographer's Note

On Arches National Park's main road on the west side, is this view of Park Avenue formations from the parking area. A moderate hiking trail meanders thru its canyon, 1.6 meters one way, to the Courthouse Towers. Seen in the distant background is The Tower of Babel.

Park Avenue was named after the skyscrapers of New York City. The cliffs are all sandstone, belonging to the Entrada Formation of the Jurassic Age.
