Photographer's Note
The Eastern Sierra Nevada's Mc Gee Canyon, a short drive west of Highway 395. It was early November and already an early snow fall, whitens the mountains. The highest peak is Red & White Mountain, 12,850 feet above sea level. This is a fine area for hiking.
The corral in the middle is busy in the summer with 'pack horses', guided trips to the higher elevations.

This is a very good photo of a spectacular scenery. I love the many brown and yellow tones af the deep foreground and the magnificent peaks rising in the distance. You have exposed it perfectly and the sharpness couldn't be better,

Hello dear Ray,
It looks like a great place for hiking. I would be delighted to walk there among these yellow flowers and bushes, and spens. But horses - oh no! Magnificent scenery - the autumn colours below, snowy rocks and perfect blue sky.

Nice vertical shot adding depth to this stunning mountain range. I love the textures and vivid colours. The yellow flowers in the foreground provide a beautiful texture and also a contrast to the white mountains. Excellent work.
Good to be back home after a month in Europe. I've missed TE and the Trekkies.
