The Universal Declaration of Human Rights Article 25, 1.:
Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

Today, 10 December 2008, we celebrate the Human Rights Day and commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This picture was taken in San Diego's 6th Avenue, at the western edge of Balboa Park, which is to the right of the photo.
San Diego, Southern California, is nicknamed America's Finest City. In 2004 census it ranked the fifth largest median household income in the USA.
