Photographer's Note

Been away from TrekEarth for quite some time, but thought I would share this image from last fall. I kayaked out to an island and spent the night. The morning was quite cool, creating a beautiful layer of mist as soon as the sun hit the waters.

Caddo Lake is a labyrinth of canals, cypress trees, and backwater bayous. Many fish, birds, and alligators call its waters home. The tall bald cypress trees create many great opportunities for pictures, no matter what season or what time of day.
