Hello Rob,
With increasing age I sometimes have certain problems of loss of balance and dizziness. This photo gives me a minor attack of vertigo. It is a fascinating building, but it makes me wonder if I could walk across that floor without looking seriously drunk. Of course it's only your composition and cropping that causes me that feeling of uneasiness, so my compliments for such a nastily clever photo. The Calder piece looks like it found a good home.

Bonjour, cher Rob,
Il faut vivre avec son temps et j'apprιcie l'architecture moderne qui sait habilement utiliser pour certains bβtiments l'ιcologie et les matιriaux pour rιduire les frais de chauffage, de climatisation, etc.
Ici, il faut admirer le travail rιalisι (entre autres) par les miroitiers, artisans verriers, etc.
Quant ΰ l'entretien, la tβche ne doit pas κtre aisιe ! ;o)

The presence of the persons has an effect of scale. The point of view is showing the details of the atrium of the National Gallery of Art East Wing. The light has a good effect on the colours. Have a nice day.

The 2 people in the top left corner add a good focal point to the shot. Excellent sharpness and wonderful repetition of all the geometric shapes, mostly triangles. Tfs!

Hi Rob,i agree with your words,the class of an architecht is to do the best for the artworks inside but to sign his architechture the building too. Hello Rob, I like this point of view which emphasises the strong design of this building.
The many lines, shapes and dark areas make an intriguing picture.
The presence of the two men provide the scale reference.
The extra shots add to our experience of the museum through your eyes.
