Photographer's Note

This quiet corner is on the estate Edsel Ford, son of Henry Ford, built on the edge of Lake St. Claire just outside Detroit. The estate was built in 1929 in a Cotswold style. The grounds around the mansion are quite extensive and create a natural look, though it was all artificially made by noted landscape architect Jens Jensen. This little corner is along a series of well laid paths that were given a very mysterious feel on this foggy day.
