Photographer's Note

'How much to cross the river?'
This is another shot from Looe, but a little closer to the town; the fish market is to the right of this picture, hence the moored fishing boat.

There is a small boat that acts as a ferry across the river, 50p each way. It saves a walk alongside the river until you reach the bridge to get to West Looe.

This picture was taken in East Looe.
Once upon a time, East Looe and West Looe both had separate councils with their own mayors and their own MPs, hard to believe when it is only the river that separates the two parts of what is now a united town in east Cornwall.

Thanks for looking.
