Another shot to add to my series "Vancouver Reflections".

The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in downtown Vancouver was built in 1991. Located across the road from Canada Place- the rooms afford fantastic views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore mountains.

At 248ft (76m), The Fairmont Waterfront is the 154th tallest building in Vancouver.

*Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is a Toronto, Ontario based owner/operator of luxury hotels and resorts in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Bermuda, Barbados, United Kingdom, Monaco and the United Arab Emirates. It holds an 83.5% controlling interest in Fairmont Hotels Inc., a 100% interest in Delta Hotels, and a 35% investment interest in Legacy Hotels Real Estate Investment Trust.

Fairmont is known in Canada for its famous historic hotels and resorts such as the Banff Springs in Alberta and Chβteau Frontenac in Quebec City. Many of these hotels were originally built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As such, they were operated by Canadian Pacific Hotels and Resorts until CP Hotels purchased Fairmont in 1999 and changed their name to Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. The name change reflected the new international focus of the company and gave name recognition to their subsequently acquired international properties.
