Photographer's Note

Apart from having all car doors blocked by ice, yesterday morning (I had to use my hair dryer to defrost it and be able to enter), besides that, it was all right, the sun was shining and the sky had become blue again!
Returning from the grocery, I went around in downtown looking for winter urban images, kind of people dressed like bears... streets were almost empty.

But why not taking a photograph of the small central square, with that lovely gazebo, which would be stage of pleasant meetings for playing "serestas" (serenades) during the night, if it were in Minas Gerais (Brazil).

The sign makes clear that it would not be allowed here (it says that it is forbidden to be in the square between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am it is a municipal bylaw and anyone who contravenes this provision is subject to a minimal fine of 100$ and maximum of 300$).
This is for people (pedestrian) during all seasons of the year!
Of course, we also need sleeping, I agree.

This photo looks like a "xuaxade", but it is a false xuaxade because it does not raise disputes... at least not here.

Xuaxade = a post which gives rise to a dispute (the word comes from Xuaxo :-).

In WS another sign, that one for parking permitted hours, because it is during the night that the snowplow (snow plough) goes to clean downtown area.
