Photographer's Note

Here we have the "Rivire Noire" (Black River), called by locals "Rivire Blanche", at this location, because of its rapids.

I don't know if you can see the small snowflakes. They were very visible by the eyes a pity, my photo doesn't show how it really was. We had sun and snowfall at the same time it was very beautiful. The clouds were covering the sun like a veil.
I tried longer exposure, but I was facing the sun, so the result was only a completely white overexposed image.

In the bottom third of the image, we see some blocks of ice parked along the river, from the premature thawing we have had in the beginning of January. There are big blocks of ice at each side of the river.
I think the water we see at left will turn into ice again, very quickly - this morning, the temperature was minus 17 Celsius.

Critiques and suggestions are welcome ;-)
