Smiling city of Toronto or Toronto through Fisheye lens...
To the east of the Nathan Phillips Square is the Toronto’s Old City Hall, which is now a courthouse for the Ontario government.
Old City Hall was home to its city council from 1899 to 1966 and remains one of the city's most prominent structures. It has a distinctive clock tower (103 m) and the largest bell, named Big Ben weighs more than 5000 kg….
Work on the Romanesque Revival building designed by Toronto architect Edward James Lennox began in 1889. When it opened on September 18, 1899 it was the largest building in Toronto, and the largest municipal building in North America. Later Lennox designed Casa Loma and the King Edward Hotel. Old City Hall was declared a National Historical Site by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada in 1989.

Privet, Alana, like this one so much, your fisheye lens has made a pleasant distortion, these two towers seems to be longing towards each other... Nice exposure as well.
Cheers

Hello Alana. Very interesting point of view and lenses effect. The light and the exposition is good too. I don't know if you used a tripod, but the image is sharp and clear. Good job.

Here is an interesting wide angle shot! I really like the weird perspective that the fisheye give to buildings and tower! That make funny and original pictures!
Bravo!

Bonjour Alana,
J'aime le cτtι humoristique de ton post. Les couleurs sont belles et la distortion donne un effet trθs agrιable.

Hi Alana
We got a fisheye in July and I haven't used it yet. Last week when I would have liked to have tried a photo, Toni had it in his camera bag. Frustrating.
Anyway the effect is excellent although I would have liked to have seen the whole stairway to balance the top part of the photo. The light is excellent and details very sharp. I like the reflection in the building on the right.
Regards
Nikki
P.S. So are you changing to a D80 or not. I don't really think it's worth it.

Hi Alana
Great and sweeping shot of this building. I can't remember if I visited or photographed it, so I'll have to check my archives. Nice detail, good colours and a dramatic curvature to the scene. Nice work.
